Alpha Alpha Pro Tec Plus system (50, 70, 90, 115)
System boiler, natural gas and LPG
Combustion figures
| Figure | Natural gas (G20) | LPG (G31) |
|---|---|---|
CO₂ at high rate More infoHide infoFactory set figures at maximum output from the Section 2.3 table. The MI gives no tolerance. Checked at maximum (100%) in the chimney sweep function (Section 5.7). Wait 1 minute after starting the function before measuring, or at least 3 minutes if the boiler was already running for heating. |

CO₂ at low rate More infoHide infoFactory set figures at minimum output from the Section 2.3 table. The MI gives no tolerance. Checked at minimum (0%) in the chimney sweep function (Section 5.7). |

Maximum CO More infoHide infoFrom the Section 2.1 technical data table, which doesn’t split by gas type. Section 2.3 also gives nominal CO at 0% O₂: NG 14, 26, 11, 16 ppm and LPG 184, 200, 190, 225 ppm (50, 70, 90, 115). The LPG 115 nominal figure is above the 200 ppm maximum; the MI doesn’t explain this. | 200 ppm | 200 ppm |
CO/CO₂ ratio More infoHide infoMaximum, from Section 2.1. Section 6: if the ratio is above 0.003, clean the heat exchanger and re-test until it is below 0.003. | 0.003 | 0.003 |
O₂ | Not given in MI | Not given in MI |
Working inlet pressure More infoHide infoGas supply pressure from the Section 2.3 table. Section 3.1 says the NG inlet supply pressure must be at least 20 mbar. Check the gas supply working pressure at maximum (100%) in the chimney sweep function (Section 5.7). Measurement point not stated in MI. | 20 mbar | 37 mbar |
Gas rate at maximum More infoHide infoFrom the Section 2.3 table. The LPG figures are printed in l/h there, but the Section 10 performance tables give the LPG burner gas flow rate at maximum output as 50: 3.98, 70: 5.43, 90: 7.17, 115: 8.86 m³/h. The MI doesn’t explain the difference, so both are shown. |

Enter service mode for high and low rate
High rate
- Hold A to start the chimney sweep function.
- Press the DHW + button (right-hand, tap symbol) for maximum (100%).
Low rate
- Press the DHW − button for minimum (0%).
- Or: press the CH + and − buttons (left-hand, radiator symbol) to set any output in 1% steps.
Ending the test
- Hold A again to come out. No time-out given in MI.
